KeyWest Consulting – Course Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all students purchasing training courses, workshops, coaching, or consultancy services from KeyWest Consulting. By booking or purchasing a course, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms.

1. Booking and Payment

  • Your place on a course is confirmed once payment has been received or a payment plan has been agreed in writing.
  • All fees must be paid by the agreed due date.
  • KeyWest Consulting reserves the right to refuse or cancel enrolment where payment has not been received.

2. Payment Plans

Where a payment plan is agreed:

  • Payments must be made on the agreed dates.
  • Failure to make payments may result in suspension of course access until payments are up to date.
  • You remain responsible for paying the full course fee.

3. Cancellation and Refunds

  • You may cancel your booking within 14 days of purchase if the course has not started and you have not accessed any digital course materials.
  • Once a course has started or digital materials have been accessed, fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
  • Deposits and administration fees, where applicable, are non-refundable.

4. Course Delivery

KeyWest Consulting reserves the right to:

  • Change course dates, times, venues, trainers, or delivery methods where reasonably necessary.
  • Update course content to ensure it remains accurate and relevant.
  • Cancel or postpone a course if circumstances beyond our control make this necessary. In such cases, students will be offered an alternative date or a refund of fees paid for the affected course.

5. Student Responsibilities

Students are expected to:

  • Provide accurate registration details.
  • Attend sessions on time.
  • Behave respectfully towards trainers, staff, and other participants.
  • Complete any required assessments or assignments where applicable.
  • Follow all instructions relating to health, safety, and safeguarding.

KeyWest Consulting reserves the right to remove any student whose behaviour is disruptive, abusive, discriminatory, or unsafe. No refund will be provided in these circumstances.

6. Certification

Certificates of attendance or completion will only be issued where:

  • All required fees have been paid.
  • Attendance requirements have been met.
  • Any required assessments have been successfully completed.

7. Intellectual Property

All training materials, presentations, workbooks, templates, videos, and online content remain the intellectual property of KeyWest Consulting.

Students must not copy, record, distribute, reproduce, or share course materials without prior written permission.

8. Online Courses

Students are responsible for ensuring they have:

  • A reliable internet connection.
  • Suitable equipment to access online learning.
  • A quiet environment suitable for participation.

KeyWest Consulting cannot be held responsible for interruptions caused by a student’s own equipment or internet connection.

9. Confidentiality

During coaching, consultancy, workshops, or group training, students may hear confidential information shared by others. All participants agree to respect the privacy of fellow students and not disclose confidential information outside the learning environment.

10. Limitation of Liability

KeyWest Consulting will deliver its services with reasonable care and professional skill.

We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from participation in our courses, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot legally be limited.

11. Data Protection

KeyWest Consulting processes personal information in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation. Information is used only for course administration, certification, legal compliance, and communication relating to our services.

12. Complaints

If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our service, please contact us in writing. We are committed to resolving complaints fairly, professionally, and promptly.

13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

By purchasing or attending a KeyWest Consulting course, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.This version is suitable for a professional UK consultancy. If KeyWest Consulting delivers accredited qualifications or works with local authorities, NHS organisations, or corporate clients, the terms can also be expanded to include non-disclosure, cancellation charges, subcontractor provisions, force majeure, appeals, equality and diversity, safeguarding, and employer-funded learner clauses.
